Quotes from Seth Godin:

Art is frightening. Art isn’t pretty. Art isn’t painting.

But art is who we are and what we do and what we need.

TED Talks – Chip Kidd: Designing books is no laughing matter. OK, it is.

Loving this quote by Chip Kidd:

Much is to be gained by eBooks: ease, convenience, portability. But something is definitely lost: tradition, a sensual experience, the comfort of thingy-ness — a little bit of humanity. (Chip Kidd)

23 November 2011: Seth Godin posted an update about his new manifesto – Please Consider Weird

“Mass is dead. Here comes weird” says Seth Godin in his latest manifesto We Are All Weird. (affiliate)

I downloaded his book through The Domino Project and if you want to find out more about the battle of our time I recommend you to read his manifesto.

Seth Godin explains 4 words: Mass, normal, weird & rich. Which tribe do you support?

It’s a short and easy read and a great opportunity to think about your private & professional choices in life.

Do The Work by Steven Pressfield

If you are stuck with your work, feel resistance and don’t know how to finish your work read this manifesto Do The Work by Steven Pressfield.

One of my favorite parts of this manifesto is when Steven Pressfield tells you to stay stupid. Why? Because any smart person who understood how difficult were the tasks they had set themselves would have pulled the plug before he even began.

Read Do The Work and take notes, pass it on to your friends who are stuck and get them moving.
